When I want to understand cocktails and memorize them Identifying the Similarities and differences comes very useful along with the repetition of the ratios memorize it comes almost automatic.

Conclusion

As you guys can see Martini and Manhattan have a very similar structure with the exception of few differences, the same phenomenon occurs often with other cocktails and comes handy at understanding and memorizing  cocktails.
